Biography

Stella Motina is born in Lugansk in the Ukraine, she received in her childhood her first singing lessons. This was followed by her professional training at the famous Gnessin College and Academy in Moscow, where she graduated from in 2011 with honors.

The young soprano showed already early her passion for singing. At the age of just 23 years she was finalist of the "Concorso Internatzionale di Canto Maria Caniglia" in Italy and awarded with a scholarship to sing the role of Despina in Mozart's Così fan tutte at the Teatro Comunale in Sulmona (Italy).

Her further course of studies led her to the University of Music, Drama and Media Hanover.

Her first guest engagement brought her in 2011 to the Hildesheim Opera for the role of Musetta in Puccini's La Bohème.
